Leanne graduated from University of Queensland in 1994. After working in rural Victoria in community health she moved to Melbourne and commenced her passion in Intensive Care and acute orthopaedics. She was a founding member of Orthopaedic Geriatric Service at PANCH in Victoria. She then relocated to Brisbane in 1997 and commenced work at St Andrews Hospital working extensively in the Cardiac services. She moved to the Gold Coast and became a partner in Focus on Physio in 2004. She continued her passion in small business and remains a director and clinician in Physio@home. Leanne has a keen interest in keeping active & healthy.
Trent Rowe – Director
Graduated from The University of Queensland with Honours, majoring in muscle imbalances associated with Low Back pain. Since graduating, Trent has worked in a number of sports medicine clinics, gaining invaluable knowledge & mentoring along the way. Trent has been an employee of physio@home for the past 8 years before becoming a partner in 2014. Trent is passionate in the areas of rehabilitation & falls prevention, low back pain, shoulder rehabilitation, core strengthening / pilates. Interests include spending time with family, keeping fit, being outdoors & his volunteer lifesaving duties & competition at Northcliffe Surf Life Saving Club.
Jess Layton – Office Manager
Started working with Physio@home over a year to allow an easier work / family balance. Jess is a fully qualified nurse, providing her with a thorough understanding of your medical condition & has a better ability to help with contacting doctors, ordering equipment/aids or organizing appointments. Jess still does the occasional shift Gold Coast Private hospital to keep her qualifications up to date. Jess will do everything possible to ensure that your experience with physio@home is of a high standard and stress free for you.
Andrea Dunn – Physiotherapist
Andrea has always had a love for sport & fitness from a young age, competing in high levels of athletics, surf lifesaving & netball. Through this experience came the desire to become a physiotherapist to help keep people’s bodies in working order. Andea Graduated from Griffith University with Bachelor of Exercise Science & Masters of Physiotherapy. Upon graduating, Andrea joined the Physio@home team & has gained a great deal of experience from working in the acute intensive care setting, to community rehabilitation. Andrea is passionate about women’s health, pilates & acute hospital care. She has always had a passion for preventative medicine, continuing her studies with a graduate diploma of Human Nutrition.
Jay Scott-Hunter - Physiotherapist
Jay, graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) in 2012. Since this time he has worked in a number of settings including private practice, medical centres, hospitals and mobile physiotherapy. He enjoys playing and watching cricket, rugby league and AFL in his spare time.
Kelly Bower - Physiotherapist
Kelly graduated from Griffith University in 2016 with a Master of Physiotherapy after completing a Bachelor of Exercise Science. Kelly began her physiotherapy career with Physio at home but has worked previously as a swimming instructor, personal trainer and as an assistant in nursing. Kelly loves working in community as it gives her a chance to see people in their own environment where she can apply a real world and holistic approach to treatment. Kelly has a keen interest in orthopaedics, paediatrics and cardiorespiratory physiotherapy. She enjoys an active lifestyle playing beach volleyball, netball, circuit training and is involved in surf lifesaving as a patrolling member of North Burleigh Surf Club.
