Physio@Home is a group of experienced physiotherapists dedicated to providing a high quality, individual and evidence based home service. We treat patients from a wide variety of presentations ranging from acute to chronic conditions. Our staff are all experienced physiotherapists and appreciate the problems and challenges of ageing and have a special interest in keeping people in their own homes. We are highly regarded within the local medical community due to our longevity and excellent reputation. All our physiotherapists are university trained and maintain ongoing education and training as part of their APHRA (physiotherapy registration board) registration.
MEET OUR TALENTED TEAM
Trent Rowe – Director
Graduated from The University of Queensland with Honours, majoring in muscle imbalances associated with Low Back pain. Since graduating, Trent has worked in a number of sports medicine clinics, gaining invaluable knowledge & mentoring along the way. Trent has been an employee of physio@home for the past 8 years before becoming a partner in 2014. Trent is passionate in the areas of rehabilitation & falls prevention, low back pain, shoulder rehabilitation, core strengthening / pilates. Interests include spending time with family, keeping fit, being outdoors & his volunteer lifesaving duties & competition at Northcliffe Surf Life Saving Club.
Dannielle Cuell - Physiotherapist
Dannielle graduated from Griffith University in 2021 with a Master of Physiotherapy after completing a Bachelor of Exercise Science. Dannielle began her physiotherapy career with Physio at home and has become an important member of the team. Dannielle loves working in the community as it gives her a chance to see people in their own environment where she can apply a real world and holistic approach to treatment. Dannielle has a keen interest in orthopaedics, musculoskeletal and rehabilitation physiotherapy.
Ella Askew - Physiotherapist
Graduated from Griffith University in 2023 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. I began my physiotherapy career with Physio@Home. I enjoy working in the community as I enjoy the broad spectrum of conditions and the ability to see people in their own environment. I have special interest in paediatrics, respiratory conditions and falls prevention.
Jess Layton – Office Manager
Jess started working with Physio@home over a year ago to allow an easier work / family balance. Jess is a fully qualified nurse, providing her with a thorough understanding of your medical condition & has a better ability to help with contacting doctors, ordering equipment/aids or organising appointments. Jess still does the occasional shift Gold Coast Private hospital to keep her qualifications up to date. Jess will do everything possible to ensure that your experience with physio@home is of a high standard and stress free for you.
